SPAHRPRODUCTIONS.COM is pleased to announce that the production of a new documentary has begun. Titled "Glen Rock Fae", this production will attempt to capture the essence of the Spoutwood May Day Festival.

For eighteen years this fairie festival has brought joy to thousands of people and may be the largest event of its kind in the world. Last year 17,000 people attended this three day celebration. If it isn't the largest, many of us would insist that it is the best.

The genesis of the documentary was formed from the response to a music video that was made from video clips of the 2008 festival. Centered around a song written and performed by Janet Spahr about the Spoutwood Festival, it generated many emails from people expressing how it helped ease their"homesickness" for the festival after it was over. Some told of how it brought a joyful tear to their eye. Spoutwood touches something very deep within the people who attend the festival.

The documentary will focus on the force that creates this powerful experience - the spirit and vision of its' creators - Rob & Lucy Wood, and many hard working volunteers. When you meet these people you will quickly discover where the magic comes from. It comes from the heart. It comes from love. Love for people. Love for our earth.

Scheduled to be finished in the fall 2009, you can keep up-to-date with the progress of this film at http://glenrockfae.com
