Spoutwood Farm Needs – Spring 2010

High Priority

• Plumber Help:  Need someone with plumbing skills to be available to repair or troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Pick-up truck:  Need a 4x4, full bed, preferably diesel  Remember, we are a 501 (c) (3) non profit.  All gifts are tax deductible.
• Tree Removal:  We have a fallen tree that needs to be cut up and removed
• Handyman or woman Building Repair and Painting: We have many buildings always in need of attention.  Carpentry skills a great plus.
• CSA (our Community Supported Agriculture project, vegetables by subscription):  is looking for members for the June to November season for both medium and large shares.  Also could use another or two Apprentices and interns.
• Adopt Our Horses:  For someone who can give regular attention and grooming to our two horses, Orrie and McKeever.

Other Needs

• Spoutwood Farm Boothtending:  Spoutwood is often represented at community events.  We need some enthusiastic people throughout the year to be trained to set up at events and represent the farm.
• Fence Repair:  There always seem to be fences to be fixed.  Boards, hammer and nails, drill and handy person are all that’s necessary.
• Help with the Gardens:  We are wanting to keep the gardens and trees in better form.
• Sawdust Toilet Maintenance:  Our toilets on the hill and the one down in the lower parking area need weekly maintenance.  This is our biggest character builder and earns the most universal brownie points.
